First day of School outfit

The first day of school outfit choice has always been a crucial one, ever since grade school. Now that I am a teacher, well, nothings changed. You only get one chance to make a first impression, why not make it fashionable! I found a great silk dress in Wilmington at a store called Return Passage. It is a silk poppy colored BB Dakota on sale for $25.00. The original price was $86.00. It was a steal, great for work or play and can changed by adding a funky belt and heels.

I topped it off with a white 3/4 blazer, similar to the one pictured, funky gold and turquoise accessories and my go to leopard gladiator sandals! Loved the look and had a student ask me if i was a model.... guess he's looking for his first A!
